There's news that will make Marvel fans beyond ecstatic.
Release dates for "Fantastic Four 2" and the new "Wolverine" movie have been released.
According to HitFix, "Fantastic Four 2" is scheduled for a July 14, 2017 release date while the untitled "Wolverine" movie is set for March 3, 2017.
That would reportedly be the first superhero movie that Fox has released outside of the summer months since they dumped "Elektra" in January 2005.
The sequel to "The Wolverine," directed by James Mangold is set to have a release date that will come less than 10 months after "X-Men: Apocalypse" arrives over the 2016 Memorial Day weekend.
The untitled Marvel project that everyone seems to be talking about is expected to be crossover between "Fantastic Four" and "X-Men," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It is unclear whether Hugh Jackman will return or be replaced for the untitled project.
The release date for the highly anticipated film is set for July 13, 2018.
Meanwhile, according to comicbook.com, "Fantastic Four" is set to begin shooting in April for a release in July 2015.
As Marvel keeps us excited with its upcoming films, it has been reported that 20th Century Fox studios will be releasing several other movies in the future.
"Taken 3" currently has a release date set for January 9, 2015 while the "Untitled Ridley Scott" will hit theaters March 4, 2016.
"Frankenstein" with Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy will be moving its release date from January 16 to October 2, 2015 while Matthew Vaughn's "The Secret Service" is set for October 24, 2014 rather than the original March 6.
