There are news updates for "Frozen 2" that we're sure fans are dying to hear about.

Although a specific release date hasn't been set, we're just excited to know that the possibility of "Frozen 2" going into production is very high.

Time has reported that "Frozen" is currently the "highest-grossing animated film ever made, surpassing 'Toy Story 3.'"

The Latino Post reports that the Disney hit earned $1.072 billion in revenues.

To the joy of the "Frozen" cast members, the film has reportedly earned $398.4 million domestically and $674 million abroad.

It has been noted that "Frozen" is the biggest Disney or Pixar animated film of all time in 27 countries, including Russia, China and Brazil.

The film, directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, was released in theaters November 2013 and we're still hearing "Let It Go" everywhere we go. We just can't get enough of it.

We don't know yet if the all-star cast Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel or Jonathon Goff will be returning for "Frozen 2," but we have heard that Buck and Lee have "dream team" cast additions in mind.

Amongst them are Benedict Cumberbatch, Melissa McCarthy and Jamie Foxx. If the original cast were to stay, these three would just add to the stardom.

From recent news updates, there is speculation that Queen Elsa may be finding a love of her own in "Frozen 2."

As we wait for a release date and production updates for "Frozen 2," fans are still singing along to the unforgettable soundtrack.
