Nigella Lawson has been having a rough year. There is no doubt about that.
According to the New York Daily News, the celebrity chef was turned away from a flight from London to Los Angeles.
The author of "How To Be A Domestic Goddess" reportedly passed security when she was told she would not be able to get on the flight, forcing her to return to the first-class check-in area to get her baggage back.
The Daily Mail stated that the exact reasons why she was rejected from the flight were not revealed but connected the incident to her highly publicized court confession last year regarding drugs.
Nigella Lawson had confessed her use of drugs. She reportedly snorted cocaine seven times and smoked pot in front of her kids.
The stunning chef's personal life has been thrust into the spotlight, to the dismay of fans.
Her marriage to millionaire art dealer Charles Saatchi came to an end after photos of the infamous "choke" surfaced the Internet.
The couple was at a London restaurant when Saatchi attempted to choke Lawson.
Other than the choke, more details surfaced of the couple's abusive relationship.
During an interview on "The Michel McIntyre Chat Show" in Britain, Nigella Lawson spoke of her current life, stating, "I have had better times. It's spring and I am feeling better and I am very happy to be here."
She continued, "I try not to live in the public sphere very much. You have your own life and you are the person inside. I really think if the major thing in your life is what people who don't know you think then you are living your life wrong."
Nigella Lawson spoke of her link to drugs, confirming that she had tried cocaine and "smoked the odd joint" in the past to cope with the death of her first husband, John Diamond, and the "intimate terrorism" of Saatchi.
She explained in court, "I did not and do not have a drug problem. I had a life problem. I decided to address that."
