Comedian John Pinette was found dead on Saturday in a Pittsburgh hotel room.

CNN reports that Pinette died of natural causes that were caused by "a medical history he was being treated for." An autopsy will reportedly not be done because his personal doctor signed the death certificate.

The comedian, who was best known for playing the carjacking victim, Howie, in the series finale of "Seinfeld" in 1998, was found dead at the age of 50.

Longtime manager Larry Schapiro said on Monday that although his past addiction problems "took a toll on his body," the famous "Seinfeld" comedian was "clean and sober" at the end.

John Pinette was also known for his drastic weight loss, going from 450 pounds to 250 pounds in the past two years.

His weight loss was the subject of a new comedy set he was developing titled, "They Call Me Slim."

Manager Schapiro shared his hilarious opening line, "You know how they say in every fat person there's a skinny person waiting to come out? Well, mine came out, and mine was fat."

John Pinette was known for more than his role in "Seinfeld." Fellow comedians and friends noted how kind the actor was.

Schapiro stated, "He couldn't walk past a homeless person without giving them a $20. He would say, 'There but for the grace of God go I.'"

After hearing the news that the star is now dead, comedians took to Twitter to express their thoughts on John Pinette.

Russell Peters wrote on Twitter, "He was an extremely funny guy and a great human."

Bob Saget wrote, "Funny man. Kind man" while Dane Cook followed with, "He was one of the most generous people I've ever worked with. A hilarious comedian. Sad loss."

Our thoughts go out to the friends and family of the incredibly talented comedian.
