K-Drama Actresses Who Had Their First Kiss Onscreen

How might it feel to have your first kiss with strangers watching and the cameras rolling? That has happened to some k-drama actresses and probably a few actors too, although actresses seem more willing to confess as much.

Actress Nam Ji Hyun recently revealed that her first kiss took place in the new drama "Angel Eyes," and happened with her drama co-star Kang Ha Neul. The kiss happened in the first episode. It was meant to be the character's first kiss but it was also the first real kiss for the former child actress.

Some might say that she kissed Kim Soo Hyun in "Will It Snow For Christmas?" And yet others who observe such things closely say the two only placed their lips together, so that kiss doesn't really count.

"Angel Eyes" staff members reported that the actress was nervous about kissing Kang Ha Neul and her nerves helped make the scene more realistic.

Jin Se Yeon, who appeared in "Inspiring Generation" with Kim Hyun Joong and now is filming Dr. Stranger" with Lee Jong Suk, says she also had her first kiss onscreen. The kiss took place with Joo Won when she appeared as his love interest Mok Dan in "Bridal Mask."

As nerve-wracking as it is to kiss under such scrutiny, former child stars must make this transition if they want to continue on to adult roles.

Moon Geun Young had her first kiss when she played a 17-year-old bride in the film "Little Bride." She has blocked some details of that kiss from her memory, even though she remembers having a very cooperative co-star.

"I can't remember how I felt. It was a very embarrassing experience," she said. "I made several mistakes. Kim Rae Won apologized to me when he found out that it was my first kiss but I was happy because I kissed such a cool guy."

She had her first drama kiss in "Cinderella's Sister."

Kim So Hyun had her first kiss in "Missing You" with her co-star Yeo Jin Goo. She played the young Yoon Eun Hye and he played the young Park Yoochun.

"It was the first kiss scene for both of us," she told OBS News. "The director even played a joke, saying that we had to do it again because oppa puckered up his lips. Oppa told me not to be bothered later that my first kiss was in a drama, that there are a lot of things like that in acting."
