James Franco's Instagram scandal has yet to be forgotten by the public.
The 36-year-old actor had been caught flirting with Scottish tourist Lucy Clode via Instagram and text messages last week.
According to E! News, Franco has since apologized for the scandal with the 17-year-old teenager. He recently made an appearance on "Live! With Kelly and Michael" to explain his mistake.
The "Of Mice and Men" actor stated, "I didn't want to come on the show and ... feel awkward, so uh, yeah. I mean I guess, you know, I'm embarrassed, and I guess I'm just a model of, you know, how social media is tricky."
The Broadway star continued, "It's a way people meet each other today. But what I've learned, I guess, just because I'm new to it is, like, you don't know who's on the other end. You meet somebody in person and you get a feel for them, but you don't know who you're talking to, and, you know?"
He concluded, "So I used bad judgment. I learned my lesson."
Recently, E! caught up with James Franco's "This is the End" co-star Seth Rogen and asked whether the Instagram scandal was real or fake.
The 31-year-old comedian stated, "I have no idea actually. I am afraid to ask!"
James Franco is clearly not done pursuing younger women just yet. Don't worry, this time, she's legal.
According to SF Gate, James Franco launched a new short film he directed for Gucci, in which he pursues 28-year-old model Natalia Bonifacci.
The campaign video for Gucci's Techno Color sunglasses collection also features clips of Franco watching the model swimming in a pool and following her through a garden before kissing her in front of a Gucci billboard.
On a positive note, James Franco has added "Of Mice and Men" to his already impressive resume.
Gotham reports that he may even be opening up an acting school in Brooklyn with his "Of Mice and Men" co-star Jim Parrack.
