'A New Leaf" The Four Protagonists
Actors Kim Myung Min, Park Min Young, Kim Sang Joong and Chae Jung Ahn was waiting for the first broadcast of "A New Leaf" and talked about the new turning point.
On the new MBC Wednesday/Thursday drama "A New Leaf" the main actors introduced the characters in their drama on their official homepage.
Kim Myung Min plays the role of Kim Suk Joo who boasts a 100% win rate as an ace attorney of a large firm. He is a person that "doesn't care about the ways or methods to win". However, he gets amnesia and this man who would do anything for money changes little by little. Such is the introduction that the staff of "A New Leaf" presents.
At this, he said, "It will be interesting for viewers to center on how Suk Joo changes in a situation like this and lives a second life because of an accident. We plan to captivate the audience with a past plot so please look forward to this."
Park Min Young plays the role of female intern of a law firm Lee Ji Yoon who graduates from law school. Regarding the character of Lee Ji Yoon, Park Min Young said, "In some ways, she meets Kim Suk Joo as an enemy but they lead each other as people as not only as an intern and subordinate." She introduced. "In addition, the role is one that breathes life and liveliness and health into the drama and I will work to convey this to the viewers and I'm working on it" as she showed love for her character.
Moreover, she expressed the changing moment in the drama saying, "They deal with tough cases but it's a drama that is really simple and gets solved in a humanitarian way. It'll be like watching an American drama and every episode is alive as the characters will be moving in an amusing way.'
Kim Sang Joon who plays the role of the executive Cha Young Woo who is in the law firm where Kim Suk Joo works said, ""A New Leaf" by title, it's confusing whether it's comical or a genre material or an actual drama but it's actually a drama with so many components in a complex way that it'll be a fun drama." he explained. "My role is not a fun one but a pretty cool one" he boasted.
As for the twisting moment, he said, "Unlike the courtroom dramas until now, each courtroom scene will show the characters encountering a new world and finding their own identity. Not only me but Kim Myung Min and Park Min Young will be working with each other as it will be interesting to see how they are creating a harmony like this" and made viewers look forward to the chemistry between the actors.
Chae Jung Ahn plays the role of Yoo Jung Sun who is the granddaughter of a conglomerate group and said, "As the granddaughter of the conglomerate group, she's in an arranged marriage with Suk Sjoo but through Kim Suk Joo, she realizes her real love and starts to develop herself. Please look forward to this as it will be a drama that you can empathize with warmth" as she expressed her determination.
