Those who attended the Tribeca Film Festival got the pleasure of witnessing Keira Knightley sing and Adam Levine act for the first time in the movie "Begin Again."
Knightley revealed that she was very nervous when recording her vocals, but was happy to have moral support.
"I think I just blocked it out of my head until I actually got into the studio and then went, 'Oh f---, I have no idea how to do this,'" Knightley said of singing in the movie, according to The Celebrity Cafe . "I was very fortunate because there were some lovely people who held my hand, and we just worked it and worked it until we found something that was all right."
Infamous for his angelic voice, Levine was happy to help Knightly along the way.
"I kept telling her she was great and she wouldn't believe me, and she told me that I wasn't bad at acting either but I didn't believe her, so it was perfect," Levine said Saturday as the film closed the Tribeca Film Festival, NY Daily reported.
Being that this was Levine's first go as a professional actor, the rocker admitted that it took some getting use to.
"I literally had to pretend that I knew what I was doing, in pretending to be another person," he explained, adding that it was "very meta."
