Olivia Munn has broken up with her RoboCop hottie BF Joel Kinnaman! And apparently distance was a big factor because they were pretty much on opposite ends of the continent, with Kinnaman in Toronto filming and Munn in L.A. full time.

Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman, who rose to fame this year as the star of the well-received RoboCop remake, and actress Olivia Munn have dated for two years.

Oh, AND this whole breakup isn't a new thing! They've apparently been separated for a while!

Joel stars on The Killing and the recent big-screen reboot of RoboCop, while Olivia's on The Newsroom. Though Us says they haven't been publically photographed together since February, we figured that was just their hectic schedules getting in the way.

"They ended things a few months ago but both seem fine. A lot had to do with distance. He's back filming in Toronto and she's now in L.A. for good."

Kinnman talked about Olivia at the Today show. "She's a hoot," he told the morning-show hosts. "She's a lot of fun."

Kinnaman and Munn first hooked up back in 2011, turning their friendship into a romance. That connection has allowed the couple to remain friends despite their split. "It's just made things a lot easier for them," the source told Us Weekly.

However, the timing does seem a bit off, after Munn was quoted in the upcoming issue of Allure, gushing about Kinnaman's futuristic duds. "If there was ever going to be a girl who would want her man to bring home a RoboCop suit, it would be me," she told the magazine. "Joel is truly fantastic in it."

It looks like The Newsroom star might have to find another metal-man. Olivia will bounce back with another hunk in NO time! She has dated Justin Timberlake and Chris Pine!
