Lorde Fights Back! ‘Royals’ Singer Slams 'Stalker' Paparazzo Simon Runting; 'I Refuse To Stay Passive About Men Systematically Subjecting Me To Extreme Fear,' She Tweeted

Lorde is starting to feel the pressures of fame being hounded by the media and the paparazzi. Other famous artist would just shrug it off but Lorde has taken to twitter to fight back against what she has tagged her "stalker" Paparazzo Simon Runting.

Posting a picture of her "stalker" Simon Runting while also tweeting, "this man has been stalking me, photographing me and refusing me privacy. i am scared of him. he frequents central akl [Auckland],".

The following tweet reads, "this should not be an accepted standard for young women or anyone in this industry."

Lorde further added. "I refuse to stay complicit and i refuse to stay passive about men systematically subjecting me to extreme fear. i understand that this comes with the territory. i do not understand why I should be complacent."

Although the Paparazzi is known for following famous people around, and most often than not, peek into their privacy in order to get photographs to sell, Lorde's case should not be taken lightly. Some celebrities have resorted to physical harm as a way to fight back.

Lorde follows the route where some troll the paparazzi much like what Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has done by wearing the same outfit when in public which deem the photographs worthless. Some however have resorted to attacking the paparazzi.

If however this gets out of hand, charges should be filed as to avoid another Princess Diana tragedy. Celebrities have always been hounded by the Paparazzi in order to get pictures for them to sell but some Paparazzo provoke celebrities in order to get the worst out of them and this leads to lawsuits where there is the opportunity to get public attention plus money.

Public opinion however is mostly against the paparazzi especially after what happened to the late Princess Diana where she was followed by a Paparazzo which led to a vehicular accident which resulted in her death.
