"The Incredible Hulk" sequel 2015 is one of many standalone films fans want to see, and the green Avenger's participation in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie should feed the clamor for development.

Marvel Studios is hesitant to confirm or deny rumors of production, and President Kevin Peige previously scrapped any plans for such during the first "Avengers" movie's release. Mark Ruffalo's cameo in "Iron Man 3" hints at a buildup, though not necessarily towards a sequel.

Marvel Studios reportedly has several titles lined up after "Avengers: Age of Ultron," including the third installment to the Avengers trilogy (or saga). The "Ant Man" and "Doctor Strange" movies are already confirmed for development, as well as follow-ups to the successful "Thor" and "Iron Man" movies.

Fans are also asking for a "Black Widow" standalone movie, and if this pushes through with "The Incredible Hulk" sequel 2015, the Avengers characters (with the exception of Hawkeye) will have their own movies. Lou Ferrigno was quoted in an interview that a Hulk installment is highly possibly after the second "Avengers" movie. From the latinopost.com: "Now because he saved the day they're making another solo ‘Hulk' movie after the second ‘Avengers' comes out."

Ferrigno's statement is yet to be confirmed, but Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner, The Hulk) is slated for a six-picture contract with Marvel Studios. He has four pictures left to finish after the second "Avengers".

A standalone movie is highly possible, unless the contract covers for appearances and cameos in other Marvel Studios projects. Ruffalo has also denied rumors that a "The Incredible Hulk" sequel 2015 is in the works, at least not in the immediate future.

Ruffalo would like a standalone Hulk film to have an eco-friendly message, one of the actor's advocacies. In a comingsoon.net article: "I'm in The Avengers, but if you took my screentime it would come to about ten minutes, along with the 12 other people I'm sharing the screen with, so my input's kind of limited on that. But if we get to a standalone Hulk movie, I'll have a much better chance to do that. I'm just learning now how to find my voice and bring it into the studio world."
