The world was shocked to know that Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez might not be friends anymore.

The rumors were sparked after Selena Gomez stopped following Taylor Swift on Instagram, the place where all of the singer's friends are featured.

However, after a video of the two dancing together at the 2014 Met Gala surfaced, it seems that the singers have patched things up.

The "22" singer spoke to E! News about her special friendship with Selena earlier today at her Keds event at The Americana at Brand.

"It's been the longest one I think either of us had really. When your life changes and you become thrust into this really strange whirlwind where what your life is different from what other people think your life is. And your life is commented on and your life is written about and fictionalized and all that," stated Swift.

The "Dear John" hitmaker continued, "Both of us have kind of stuck it out and hung in there through all the different changes we've gone through."

The blonde beauty added, "Longevity is something you really can find very precious and rare in friendships."

It seems that Taylor Swift always makes sure to make time for her friendship with Selena Gomez, despite her crazy schedule.

Swift is currently filming "The Giver," which stars Alexandar Skarsgard, Katie Holmes, Jeff Bridges, Brenton Thwaites and Odeya Rush, according to Just Jared.

The "Red" singer also made a super fan's dream come true on Wednesday, reports Philly.com.

Swift visited five-year-old Khloe, who suffers from cancer, after learning about her online campaign to meet the country star.

The Grammy winner was photographed holding up a sign with Khloe, which read, "Today I broke up with my tumor and we are never, ever getting back together!"
