Bailey in trouble?
His 'bubble boy' patient was feeling a whole lot better because Bailey treated him with the HIV virus she designed. She wanted to tell the board first before telling it to the parents that she did it even if they didn't sign the consent. Yang was shocked when she found out about it, but gave Bailey a high five when it all went well.
The moment of truth came when Bailey told the parents and they were both furious. Owen Hunt and a legal counsel investigated and dragged along Stephanie because she knew about it and didn't report it. A twist of fate happened when Stephanie took the fall. The parents calmed down and just wanted to enjoy the company of their cured son. All was well on Bailey's life because of the save of Edwards.
Jackson, April, Callie, and a baby
Jackson and April were very much happy and excited about their baby. Callie was also flamboyant when she was about to have her check-up. Kepner was acting all weird on a patient when she refuses to treat a patient while taking an x-ray, Callie who was really grumpy then realized what was happening. Stephanie accidentally knew that Jacson and April were expecting.
Callie admitted to April that her check-up didn't go well because she found out that she cannot carry a child anymore since the accident. She told Arizona and it seems like a baby number two will not be coming anytime soon.
Cristina chooses the 'replacement'
The search for the new head of the cardiology department was on. Hunt wanted Yang to choose the perfect fit for the job, but she was having trouble deciding. She will still be going to replace Burke in his hospital and Owen wished that she could stay but he knew that not a single thing can change her mind.
A bid goodbye to a resident
Every resident was worried that it might be them who will not be returning next year. Jo was having a bad case of hives, Murphy was stress-eating, Edwards was staying out of trouble, Ross was told not to have a nervous breakdown, and Warren shouldn't be bothered because he was Dr. Webber's favorite. Later on, Murphy was in Dr. Webber's service and was being observed. They sat down and had a talk. He then told her that she doesn't have what it takes to be a surgeon. She was given another opportunity in the field of research by Dr. Webber when she was fired very kindly.
Derek and his career choices
Derek was away for his brain mapping project and left Meredith with Amelia in their supposed surgery. Meredith had been bothered that they were keeping her away from her fiancée while she's in Seattle. They talked, but Amelia didn't want to discuss her personal life with her. But later on, she admitted that she really wanted to stay in Seattle.
Meredith told Derek about her sister. He replied that he was being offered a job in Washington so he can be full-time on his project, Meredith can also have a job there, and Amelia can replace him as the head of Neuro, since all of Mer's friends were moving on with their lives.
