SCANDAL Newest Single Yoake No Ryuuseigun To Release In July! J-Pop Band To Provide Song For The Latest Pokemon Movie!

Japanese band SCANDAL just announced that their newest single "Yoake no Ryuuseigun" will the the official soundtrack of the upcoming Pokemon animated movie "Pokemon The Movie XY: Hakai no Mayu to Diansie," which will premiere in Japanese cinemas on July 19. Meanwhile, SCANDAL's newest single will officially go on sale on July 16, just three days before the film's official premiere.

SCANDAL's newest single will be released in four editions: the Limited Edition comes with a Pokemon cover art and includes another song titled "Special Pokemon Song - Temporary Title" along with the instrumental track, Limited Editions A and B are both priced at 1,550yen and is bundled with their song "Untitled" as the official B-side of SCANDAL's newest single and comes along with a DVD footage of their "Kyuu ni Kite Gomen" tour, while the Regular Edition comes with a photo booklet titled "Bessatsu SCANDAL" and is priced at 1,050yen.

SCANDAL, composed of Haruna on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mami on guitar and vocals, Tomomi on bass and vocals, and Rina on drums and vocals, was founded in 2006 and is now one of Japan's top music acts to date. The J-Pop band released their fifth studio album "Standard" last year and also provided songs for anime series "Bleach," "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" and "Star Diver: Kagayaki no Takuto."
