The reviews for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" are in.

Although "X-Men: Days of Future Past" has yet to be released in theaters, the cast for a future "X-Men" movie may already be set.

Channing Tatum has officially been confirmed for the role of Gambit in an upcoming "X-Men" movie, stated producer Lauren Shuler Donner at the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" premiere in London, according to Variety.

"He's a rogue, Channing - he's a rascal, just like Remy LeBeau. And he can handle the action, we all know that. And he's got a really good heart . . . I think he'll be great for Gambit," stated Shuler Donner during an interview with Total Film.

She added, "And he's a southerner too . . . he understands that world, and you know Gambit loves New Orleans."

Channing Tatum had reportedly had his eye on the role.

He had previously told MTV, "Gambit is the only X-Man I've ever loved. I mean, I've loved them all, they're all great, but I guess just being from down South; my dad's from Louisiana, I'm from Mississippi, Alabama, Florida."

The actor added, "I don't know, I just related to him . . . I would die to play him."

The first reviews for "X-Men: Days of Future" Past have been revealed, although you'll have to wait until May 23 to agree or disagree.

"The problem here is an absurdly convoluted screenplay that leaps back and forth in time in a manner that is both confusing and increasingly irritating," wrote a critic for The Independent, according to Indiewire.

Digital Spy reported, "Where 'Days of Future Past' ends up may not be entirely to everyone's tastes, but judged on its own terms this is a movie that delivers excellent performance and brains to compliment its bang-for-your-buck spectacle."

Despite whether the reviews for the film are negative or positive, the cast of the upcoming film can't seem to stop getting enough of each other.

We're talking about Hugh Jackman's love for Jennifer Lawrence in particular.

The actor told E! News, "She just managed to handle this incredible fame and power that she has with real ease. On top of that, she's a brilliant actor."

He added, "What you see is what you get, and I've met her and worked with her . . . The way you imagine her to be is how she is."
