Arrow season 2 spoilers ahead! Be warned that this article deals with events that may probably happen in the future but you may want to read on as it deals with two of DC comics most popular characters, The Green Lantern and Ra's Al Ghul!

CW's "Arrow" continues to extend its connections to the DC Universe with every episode, recently establishing the Suicide Squad with "The Flash" TV Show on the way.

The show has had its fair share of DCU Easter eggs in the past, and executive producer Marc Guggenheim and the Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell took to Twitter and Facebook to tease fans by referencing Green Lantern! This is what they posted online:

The image is an ad for Ferris Air, a reference to the DC Comics universe's Ferris Aircraft, run by Carol Ferris, the love interest of Green Lantern, Hal Jordan. Even the ad's slogan, "We Fly Without Fear" is a reference to the Green Lantern Corps, whose rings are powered by sheer force of will, leaving no room for any kind of fear.

It's safe to say that the next three episodes of Arrow will be crucial to setting up the season 2 finale in May. Speaking about episode 23, appropriately titled 'Unthinkable,' EP Marc Guggenheim recently talked to E! Online about what we can expect. Here's what he had to say:

"If everything goes according to plan, that's a caveat, you'll see some familiar faces in the finale. Maybe ones that you're not expecting."

But unless they've kept the truth truly under wraps, we do have some ideas.

According to press releases, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) will return to Arrow in episode 222, 'Streets of Fire,' just in time to come face-to-face with his daughter, Thea. Last seen trying to take out the Glades, then leaving Moira to take the fall for her part in the conspiracy, Malcolm resurfaced earlier this season to help acquit her of the charges. He's been hiding from Ra's al Ghul's League of Assassins all this time, but his upcoming return could mean another familiar face is coming to Starling City.

A recent cast photo taken at dinner during filming for the finale shows Katrina Law, who plays Nyssa al Ghul, also on set. Now, Nyssa could simply be after Malcolm Merlyn for breaking the League's code of honor, but it's also possible she'll be there to set up the "big bad" for season 3, her father, Ra's Al Ghul!
