'Lovers Of Trot" Jung Eun Ji Picked As Protagonist

A-Pink member Jung Eun Ji and Ji Hyun Ji who came back from the military will be starring in the KBS 2TV new Monday/Tuesday drama "Lovers of Trot" (script Oh Sun Hyung, director Lee Jae Sang, production JS Pictures) as they were set as the protagonists.

Choi Choon Hee who is played by Jung Eun Ji is taking on all sorts of part times positions to support her father and a younger sister.  She is the de facto leader of the house and is engaged in a romance with Jang Joon Hyun as they bicker left and right.

In the role, Lee Se Young plays the student role of Park Soo In who has a perfect profile that cannot be compared of Choi Choon Hee (played by Jung Eun Ji).  She takes after the talents of her mother who was a singer and develops into a trot singer of the next generation.

The staff said, Jung Eun Ji has shown her acting skills in the tvN drama "Reply 1997" and SBS "That Winter the Wind Blew" and showed great singing skills as she was perfect for this role.

"The Lover of Trot" is about the girl who is the head of the household, Choi Choon Hee and a musician Jang Joon Hyun (played by Jin Hyun Woo) who despises her as the character are intertwined in their destinies in a romantic comedy.  It will be broadcast after "Big Man" in June.
