Jennifer Lawrence has grasped the hearts of fans all around with her girl-next- door image and her impeccable acting skills.

The 23-year-old actress has brought on a worldwide frown when she reportedly made an "off-the-cuff" rape joke at the Vanity Fair Cannes Film Festival party on May 17, according to the Huffington Post.

When she saw "Gravity" director Alfonso Cuaron, she allegedly stated, "I broke out my rape scream for you!" and grabbed his shoulders, screaming, "Ahhhh!!!" into his face, like a "crazed fan, or a woman in distress."

Crushable's Alexis Rhiannon has come to the conclusion that Lawrence didn't intend for anyone else to hear the alleged rape joke except for the director.

"By her blasé use of the terminology, it seems likely that she's been lucky enough never to be in a situation necessitating that type of scream, or else I hope she wouldn't throw it around so casually," wrote Rhiannon.

She added, "I'm not suggesting that Jennifer intended to be flippant about rape or assault, just that she was."

After her comment at the Vanity Fair Cannes party, she may have temporarily tarnished her girl-next-door image.

"Lawrence is painted as the goofy girl next door that everyone wants to be best friends with, but would you really want to befriend someone that describes excitement as a 'rape scream?'" wrote Bustle's Maitri Mehta.

Mehta added, "It might seem like a joke to Lawrence, but rape is never an acceptable topic to joke about - especially for a star in a young adult franchise that so many young girls look up to."

The "Hunger Games" actress also revealed recently that she puked at Madonna's Oscars after-party, according to Gawker.

After she puked on the porch, she turned to see Miley Cyrus, who reportedly said to the actress, "Get it together."

Cyrus reportedly denied that this account with JLaw occurred, tweeting, "@OurFemaleRebel that never happened."

Miley's tweet was deleted soon after it was posted.
