Attack On Titan Live-Action Film: Japanese Travel Agency Offers Package Tour For Volunteer Extras! First Batch Slots Already Sold Out!

As the shooting for Attack on Titan live-action film progresses, the production will obviously call for more extras on the set! Crunchyroll reported that Japan's largest travel agency JTB Corporation will offer a package tour for everyone who wanted to join the production crew of Attack on Titan live-action film as volunteer extras. Before the registration for first batch closed for today, the slots for the initial 50-member already sold out!

Attack on Titan live action film's production company, Toho Eiga, began accepting applications for the second batch through their official website. The qualifications for volunteer extras in Attack on Titan live-action film are listed as follows: you must be at least 20 years old, maximum height and weight is at 180 centimeters and 85 kilograms, hair color should be black and nails must be clean and manicure-free (yes, seriously). The price for the four-day and three-night package tour costs 39,800 yen (about US $390).

The lucky participants will be send on the actual Attack on Titan live-action film location in Takahagi City at Ibaragi Prefecture for three days which will take place on June 8 to 10. All of them will receive a good photo with limited-edition original goods.

The Attack on Titan live-action film which was directed by Shinji Higuchi had already finished shooting the first scene last May 17. As the shooting continues in different locations in Japan, Asahi Shimbun reports that Attack on Titan live-action film is set to premiere on the summer next year.
