New developments for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 have been revealed.

Breathecast.com reports that cast member Chloe Bennet revealed several details about her character Skye in season 2.

"Skye finds out a lot about her family coming up, or lack thereof. She doesn't know where she's from or if she's human, or alien, if she has powers. She has no idea, so we'll be seeing a lot of her finding that out."

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 will focus on Skye's mysterious origins and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s revival under the leadership of its new director, Phil Coulson. There are already rumors and theories linking Skye's past as being part of several alien races such as the Kree, Skrulls, and Inhumans.

The show's co-creator Jed Whedon has said that the production is positive that Season 2 will not only answer some vagueness in the previous episodes, but will also give more room for even more surprises.

"I think we can't really say anything, but I think the end of the season answers some questions, but asked a lot of new questions," he told BuzzFeed.

Meanwhile, Clark Gregg discussed many details on what to expect in season 2.

In an interview with Den of Geek, Gregg went on to answer the questions that the website has in mind regarding season 2.

On what SHIELD is going to look like in season two

"It's going to be lo-fi. You're going back to basics. You've got to rebuild SHIELD from the ground up in a much more dangerous world where your group is outlawed. So it feels like the early, Sean Connery James Bond with the brass knuckles and not afraid to knock somebody off."

On where season one went wrong

"I thought there were so many things stacked against us last year and one of them was where the ABC television schedule would put us on for three episodes and then take us down for four weeks. Nobody could get a momentum going and when the show started to be on consistently and having story that carried over in an episodic way, that's when things started to click."

On how season two will differ

"A, we're moving to 9pm, where it can be a little darker, like I think Marvel needs to be. Then they're going to show, I believe it's ten [Agents Of SHIELD episodes], eight of [Agent Carter], then twelve [more Agents of SHIELD]... For the most part, this is straight runs of our show, which is when I think it really works."

Movie Pilot also conducted an interview with Clark Gregg about a possible appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

"I don't think so. I think I would have heard about it by now, but I must say as a qualifier, the only way I ever hear about stuff like that is I get a weird phone message with not the right number of numbers on it and somebody says, 'We need to talk to you.'"
