Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi Divorce Rumors Firing Up; Duo Allegedly Divorcing Because TV Host Wants Younger Woman
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi divorce rumors are continuously rising. Lately, allegations say that Degeneres and De Rossi are divorcing because the TV host has her eyes set on a younger woman.
Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that the barrage of sources continue to pour in, although most of these rumors are unsubstantiated.
According to Classicalite, the duo has been battling buzzes that they are ready to split-up "due to allegations of cheating and ugly alcohol abuse." Reportedly, there has been a circulating speculation that DeGeneres promised to let De Rossi get pregnant and have baby, if de Rossi promised not to split.
Most of the couple's divorce rumors seem to center from the fact that Degeneres' attention has been wandering towards other women, and how De Rossi wants a baby but Ellen doesn't. Still, there is no official statement from the duo regarding this matter.
In an interview with People last February, DeGeneres addressed their rumoured shaky relationship saying, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."
Buzzes about their divorce are contradicted by reports that the duo are planning to renew their wedding vows in Sydney.
''[They] are looking to do something on or around August 16, their sixth wedding anniversary, in Portia's home country of Australia. They want it to be in Sydney because the city has a big gay population, and they want to help spur the acceptance of same-sex marriage,'' an insider OK Magazine.
"There have been a lot of headlines suggesting that their relationship is in trouble. They want to quash them," the insider added.
DeGeneres and De Rossi have been together for more than a decade. They tied the knot in August 2008 after four years of dating at their Los Angeles home.
