The Flash TV Series: Green Lantern Team Up/Crossover Movie Announced By Warner Bros/DC Comics; Will Grant Gustin Play Barry Allen In The New Film?
DC comics and Warner Bros are planning a Flash and Green Lantern team up/crossover movie and fans are wondering if Grant Gustin would portray Barry Allen in the movie.
It was leaked that DC comics and Warner Bros are planning a Flash and Green Lantern team up/crossover movie to be released around Christmas 2017.
Christmas 2017 is still a long ways to go and by that time The Flash TV series would be on its 3rd season and it would be very realistic to see that Grant Gustin would be ready to portray the Flash on the big screen by then. But would it happen?
According to CW, it's unlikely.
CW would prefer that the Flash and Arrow TV series to be different from the movie universe that Warner Bros is setting up as it would impact the story/script of the TV shows too much if they were going to be constrained by the plotlines set by the movies.
But don't be discouraged though as Grant Gustin's Flash may team up with Green Lantern at the season 2 of the Flash TV series.
When the Flash TV series show makers confirmed that there will be more people with super powers to appear on the show compared to "Arrow", fans then began speculating on which super powered being will appear on the show. One of the most speculated upon superhero to appear on the show is Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern. This rumor makes perfect sense because in the comics, Flash and Green Lantern have always partnered up with each other (Green Lantern even gave Barry Allen his Green Lantern Ring at one point.) While the show makers haven't confirmed that Green Lantern will appear on the show, they haven't ruled him out yet either.
