Meaning to say, price is the biggest factor that may decide what the users need between the two. Aside from the price, here are some comparisons in specs. camera, battery, and more that may help you make a smarter decision.
For starters, the iPhone 5C features a smaller 4inch IPS LCD display that offers 1136x640p. The S4 Mini has a 4.3inch Super AMOLED screen but the resolution is smaller at 960x540p.
Under the hood, the iPhone 5C runs on the Apple A6 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz with a choice of 16/32GB and 1GB RAM.. The S4 Mini is slightly faster with the 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset together with a 1.5GB RAM and an 8GB internal memory that is expandable up to 64GB via microSD.
The S4 Mini's battery also last longer with a capacity of 1900mAh. This is by far bigger than the 1510mAh battery on the iPhone 5C. You can talk for 10h on 3 G or listen to music for 40h with iPhone 5C'S non-removable Li-Po 1510mAh battery whereas the talking time with Galaxy S4 Mini's Li-lon 1900mAh battery is around 12h on 3 G or listen to music for 49h.
With regards to camera, Both devices have cameras equipped with autofocus and LED flash, iPhone 5C's and Galaxy S4 Mini's main cameras are 8MP the secondary one is 1.2MP for iPhone 5C and 1.9MP for Galaxy S4 Mini.
There is no need to argue any further as the S4 Mini is certainly the better device and it costs only $289.23. This is about half of the $506 price tag on the iPhone 5C.
