True to his status as a Hallyu icon, actor Lee Min Ho is being flooded with casting calls for his next acting project.
According to Starhaus Entertainment, for the first half of 2014 alone, the actor has already received more than 100 scenarios and scripts. In connection, a significant number of the offers came from Chinese companies, showing his influence not only in Korea, but throughout Asia.
Representatives from his management explained, "Since 'Boys Over Flowers' became a hit outside Korea, we have established a management team that reviews and responds to casting and endorsement offers; however, because of the overwhelming number of offers that he receives, we are more careful in our assessment of each project."
They added, "Lee Min Ho is already handling too much work in China, but he has plans of promoting continuously. Whenever he has time, he goes over the scripts himself, showing his dedication to acting. Before we make any decision, we have to go over every script in detail."
It still hasn't been decided what his next project will be, but in the meantime, Lee Min Ho will be focusing on his upcoming film "Gangnam Blues."
