Some Dredd 2 movie news has surfaced and it seems that Dredd 2 would finally be announced at the San Diego Comic Con 2014 if the reports are to be believed.

Comic Central City reported that the Dredd 2 movie is being worked on right now and while the movie is still on its pre-production stage, the studio is confident that the Dredd 2 movie would push through that they are going to announce the tentative release date of the Dredd 2 movie at the San Diego Comic Con 2014.

In a video uploaded by 2000ADOnline on Youtube, Karl Urban personally thanked the fans for their support and that they are hard at work on bringing you the much anticipated Dredd 2 movie.

Karl Urban and the producer of the first Dredd movie also clarified the situation of the Dredd 2 movie as a number of news sites reported that a script for the Dredd 2 movie has been finished but as stated by Karl Urban, the Dredd 2 movie doesn't have a finished script at the moment.
