Five Fun Facts About Lee Soo Hyuk

Lee Soo Hyuk makes a cool, collected and also cold-hearted chaebol in "High School King of Manners" and he's totally believable as a character that thinks people are disposable. His TV credits include his credits include  "White Christmas," "Vampire Idol," and Deep-Rooted Tree." His film credits include "The Boy From Ipanema," "Runway Cop" and "Horror Stories 2."

"High School King of Manners" is the biggest role yet for the model-turned-actor and if you haven't seen him in anything so far, this might be a good place to start.

1. He began his career as a runway model. In 2006, Lee debuted in the "Lone Costume" fashion show by designer Jung Wook Jun, and he has also done spreads for GQ, Bazaar and Elle.

2. He was a judge on "America's Next Top Model." Tyra Banks personally requested his appearance on the latest installment of "America's Next Top Model," which featured special segments in Korea. He appeared in the Season 21 Finale, which also featured the creations of South Korean fashion designer Lie Sang Bong. Banks and Lee met at a private party thrown by the show's producer. She made him an offer, which he did not refuse.

Season 21 will be shown in the U.S. in August.

3. Two of his close friends are Big Bang's G-Dragon and T.O.P. On the program "Strong Heart," he spoke about their friendship.  When they get together they like to drink and watch movies. He and singer-actor T.O.P. talk about acting.

"There even was a time when G-Dragon had made fun of my acting," he said.

Odds are G-Dragon is watching his performance now and will no longer make fun of him.

 "Ever since I was little I dreamed of becoming an entertainer," said Lee. "Back then I just learned by playing. I'm still like a rookie player with my childhood dreams, but it is a step in the right direction with a great group of friends that look so good."

4. He appeared in two music videos for 2NE1. He was in "It Hurts," playing Sandara Park's disappearing lover and the summer hit "Falling in Love," in which he shared the group's attention with actor Hong Jong Hyun.

5. Lee Soo Hyuk dated actress Kim Min Hee from 2008 to 2010. He was always open about their relationship and even said that dating her helped him improve his acting. Kim Min Hee is currently dating actor Jo In Sung.
