A veteran actor will be joining the "Point Break" remake cast and it is not Keanu Reeves as most fans wish for. The star of the new series "Believe" will join Luke Bracey and Edgar Ramirez. Still have no idea who it is? Let's get straight to the point and announce that Delroy Lindo will join Alcon Entertainment's remake of the 1991 surfing flick.
The 61-year old actor is best known for his roles in "Malcolm X", "Get Shorty", "The Cider House Rules", and "Gone in 60 Seconds". He also appeared in the crime drama TV series "The Chicago Code" as Alderman Ronin Gibbons. He currently plays Winter in the NBC series "Believe".
Delroy Lindo is a great addition to the "Point Break" remake cast because he can be an inspiration to the new breed of actors. The British actor will play the instructor of Johnny Utah, who tries to motivate the FBI agent to pass his training.
Another person that will join the "Point Break" remake cast is Teresa Palmer, who is best known for her role in "Warm Bodies", "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Take Me Home Tonight". She will surely add some eyecandy to the movie.
The reboot is headlined by Luke Bracey, who plays Utah, a role that was made famous by Keanu Reeves. Edgar Ramirez, on the other hand, plays Bodhi, which was portrayed by Patrick Swayze in the original film.
The "Point Break" remake is directed by Ericson Core (Invincible) and written by Kurt Wimmer (2012 Total Recall). The Kathryn Bigelow film became a cult classic and has earned more than $83.5 million worldwide. There is now a lot of pressure for the reboot to do well in the box office. "Point Break" remake will hit the theater on August 7, 2015. Who else do you want to see join the cast?
