The idea that all of life is just a continuation of high school must resonate with viewers because the tvN drama "High School King Of Manners" has raked in positive ratings and is getting an extension.

A tvN representative told Newsen that the Monday-Tuesday night drama is being extended by one episode as well as a special broadcast. As the drama was originally slated to be 16 episodes that means it will now be 18 episodes. "High School King of Manners" will end on August 12 and delay the premiere of the romantic comedy "My Secret Hotel."

In "High School King of Manners," a high school student and hockey player, played by Seo In Guk, has to fill in for his lookalike brother. He has to attend high school and pretend to be an executive in a major corporation. Not having any actual work experience and having to juggle two lives is only the beginning of his new daily problems. His life gets really confused when he falls for his secretary played by Lee Ha Na. She's childish, immature for her age, and the two characters fit together so well that it's hard to imagine them with anyone else. At least they seem to until she finds out that she is actually 10 years older than him. And he is also the high school student that her younger sister, played by Lee Yeol Eum, has a crush on and hopes to marry.

Although Seo In Guk plays his character with bold comic strokes, he said that in real life it would be difficult to juggle two identities and be loved by two women.

"If I am loved by two sisters like in the drama, I would feel flattered but also confused," Seo told the Korea Herald.

But if he ever did get in such a situation, he said he would be honest and follow his heart. That seems to be what his character is doing.

But the pretend executive he plays also has competition for Lee Ha Na's character. It's Lee Soo Hyuk's coldhearted chaebol who at first rejects Lee Ha Na's character and then comes to appreciate her. It's Lee Soo Hyuk's biggest role to date and the ex-model has already proven that he is more than a pretty face.

"My Secret Hotel" begins on August 18 and will star Yoo In Na, Jin Yi Han and Nam Goong Min.
