As "Triangle" draws to its conclusion, the drama retains the number one spot in the ratings. This week the drama about three brothers separated in childhood broke its own record. It reached the double digits with 10.0 percent in the ratings. That's a 0.5 percent increase from its last ratings of 9.5 percent.

It took a long time for the drama to reach first place and it will probably stay there for the remaining two episodes.

The brothers, played by Lee Bum Soo, JYJ's Kim Jaejoong and ZE:A's Im Si Wan, are now each aware of their tragic heritage. While Im Si Wan holds on to the idea that he must please his cruel adoptive father, Kim Jaejoong is slowly turning from hating his younger brother to wanting to protect him. The hit ordered on Im Si Wan's character might help him realize who his allies really are.

It's a character that has undergone a dramatic transformation from a pathetic loser to a man who moves with confidence and can take care of those around him.

The ratings for the second place drama "Temptation," starring Choi Ji Woo and Kwon Sang Woo, are close to the ratings for the third place drama "Trot Lovers," starring A Pink's Jung Eun Ji, J Hyun Woo and Shin Sung Rok. That means they could easily switch places next week.

"Temptation" fell 0.7 percent from 9.0 percent to 8.3 percent in the ratings. "Trot Lovers fell 0.8 percent from 8.4 percent to 7.6 percent.

In "Temptation" the characters played by Kwon Sang Woo and Park Ha Sun each face their own temptation. And in each case what tempts them is a combination of charm and the freedom from worry that money can buy. Kwon Sang Woo's character can't forget the rich woman who purchased his time for three days. Park Ha Sun's character is being paid well to care for the child of a charming rich man with a reputation for treating women casually. The trust in their marriage has been damaged and it is driving them apart.

In "Trot Lovers" both Ji Hyun Woo and Shin Sung Rok have professed their love for Jung Eun Ji's character. Ji Hyun Woo tried to pretend that he did not care for her and agreed to produce a record for his ex played by Lee Se Young. But he can't keep on pretending. Meanwhile Jung Eun Ji's star is rising, reviving an interest in trot music, and that makes Lee Se Young jealous enough to attempt to sabotage her performance.

Which drama do you think will rate first place next week?
