The final season of 'Sons of Anarchy' may start this fall, according to Deadline.

At Comic-Con, SOA creator Kurt Sutter announced :

"We are having serious conversations about our prequel."
"My sense is right now that I don't know if it will be a full-on series or a mini-series."

He also added:
"There'll be no spinoffs. I think spinoffs work well on procedural dramas, which this clearly is not."

According to MTV.com preview for the TV series, when season seven begins, almost two weeks have elapsed since the brutal murder of Tara Knowles-Teller (played by Maggie Siff), Jax's wife and the mother of his two young sons.

Jax (Hunnam) has been arrested and sent to jail. He only has a handful of people he still trusts including his mother, Gemma (Sagal).

After a review of last season's events, it seemed fans were treated to a preview of Sons of Anarchy Season 7 where Jax is brutally fighting a man in prison and carving a swastika on his stomach.

The creator of this drama was also reported teasing fans on Twitter about a "fun guest-star announcement" for the biker drama's upcoming final season which just resulted that he's just messing with people. SOA still keeps Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson to join the show for the recurring roles for its closing cycle.

Additionally about the possible prequel of SOA, Sutter said "The prequel will be about the origins of John Teller and Piney Winston,".

Aside from prequel, the creator of the tv series promoted "Sons" prose novel featuring Jax and other SAMCRO members, called "Sons of Anarchy: Bravta". It states that  no matter what happens at the end of the series, Mr. Mayhem will always be just around the bend.
