New updates for the Lionsgate and Saban produced Power Rangers movie reboot have revealed.

According to reports from MTV News, that Academy Award winner Meryl Streep is rumored to be cast as the evil alien witch Rita Repulsa, while reports from ComicBookMovie.com claimed that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star Michael Fassbender and "The Dark Knight Rises" star Tom Hardy are cast as the evil galactic conqueror Lord Zedd, and the ferocious alien general Goldar.

It was reported before by MTV that the six possible actors rumored to play the Power Rangers in the reboot are Liam Hemsworth, Chloe Grace Moretz, Jack Gleeson, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Chung, and Roshon Feegan. "Taken" and" Non-Stop" star Liam Neeson was offered the role of Zordan, and the original Power Ranger cast member Jason David Frank confirmed to join the movie as the Ranger's trainer and mentor.

Meanwhile, rumored concept art images of the Megazords for the Power Rangers movie reboot have been leaked online.
