Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers: Damon And Bonnie Will Return For Next Season! Producer And Writer Didn't Give Any Hint On How 2 Characters Will Come Back

The Vampire Diaries gang shared a spoof video on the last Comic-Con 2014 happened in San Diego.

There are many questions left on the Season 5 finale episode of TVD, including if Damon (Ian Somehalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) will come back next sbeason.

This question pops out because every time a season ends, it only means new contract for the casts.

When it comes to story, the final episode of the previous season left the viewers hanging if Damon and Bonnie died after they went on with their Project Kaboom to put a halt on The Other Side.

During the 2014 Comic Con, according to ChristianToday, Julie Plec, TV producer and writer of TVD, dropped the sad news that characters who have died can no longer come back. 

After that announcement, Plec teased fans that the writers of the series were able to make them come back. Additionally, the executive producer said that the TV series will return showing a four month time jump.

The fifth season gave shocking ending. However, even though the production confirmed that the characters Damon and Bonnie will come back next season, none of them gave any hint on how the said characters who allegedly died on the last episode will return.

Plec also mentioned that the original characters of TVD will come back to Mystic Falls. She said that the writers and execs are working and under "talking about different paths" that can be taken to allow crossovers. 

TVD season 6 will be back on Oct. 2.
