The content of this post said that the spin-off of How I Met Your Mother may not come this fall, but it doesn't mean it was cancelled or it will not be aired anymore.

In a press event that happened last Thurday, CBS chairman Nina Tassler announced the network's decision to not go forward with spinoff.

Recently, co-creator Carter Bays has been batting the speculations that the show was being redeveloped. But according to the report of this source, "Tassler didn't rule out taking another look at the potential series at some point."

On November 15, 2013, the netword ordered the show to pilot with mentioned title. The network described the show as "a kindred spirit of How I Met Your Mother. The story is about female point of view."

But on May 14, 2014, the network announced that the TV will not be aired in the fall of 2014 as they did not approve of it due to casting reasons.

It was also reported that CBS asked co-creators to reshoot the pilot, but both of them refused to do so.
