"Pride And Prejudice And Zombies" live-action film adaptation is coming!

According to Wikipedia, the parody book version of 'Pride And Prejudice'  was released in 2009.

The parody version is titled 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies', written by Seth Grahame-Smith . The story is a combination of Jane Austen's novel 'Pride And Prejudice' with the special participation of modern zombies.

What is something special about this book today is that it's film adaptation is already in the works, according to ComicBookSources.

The person in charge for the script is David O.Russell (from American Hustle).

However, they also mentioned that there  is no director yet for the film adaptation of the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies novel, and due to some changes regarding studio,the film leads to long delay until now.

For the fans of this parody version,  the plot posted on IMDB reads:

"Jane Austen's classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England is faced with a new challenge -- an army of undead zombies."

It also mentioned that the release date might be in 2015

Deadline reported that the film shooting target month is in September. Stars to play the roles are Lily James who play as Elizabeth Bennet in Downtown Abbey, Sam Riley from Maleficent as Mr. Darcy and Bella Heathcote (from Dark Shadows) as one of Elizabeth's sisters.

Additionally, from the same source, Burr Steers, (director of 17 Again and Charlie St. Cloud) is assigned to helm the live-action film.

The development of the film started since 2010, with a variety of stars that supposed to be cast, including Natalie Portman and Emma Stone.

Queen Amidala star (Film: Star Wars) is the producer of this project. And some said that Craig Gillespie, (director of the remake of Fright Night) was supposedly on board to helm for Lionsgate in 2011, but soon, the project stalled out until 2013 as Panorama Media showed-off a press release announcing the moving forward of the film.
