[Confirmed] Robin Williams Died At 63; Beloved Actor's Death Due To Suicide? California Police Found His Body On Monday

It is not a hoax anymore. The Jumanji star Robin Williams, 63, was found dead on Monday by California police .

According HuffingtonPost, the beloved actor died due to suicide.

The actor was popularly known for starring roles in classic comedies like Mrs. Doubtfire and Jumanji, and winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Dr. Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting.

DailyMail.co.uk reported the statement of Marin County Sheriff's Department in California: 'On August 11, 2014, at approximately 11.55am, Marin County Communications received a 911 telephone call reporting a male adult had been located unconscious and not breathing inside his residence in unincorporated Tiburon, California.

The actor was pronounced deceased at 12.02pm. Currently, the cause of death of the actor is currently underway by the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff's Office.

On July 15, Express.co.uk reported that the actor underwent rehab and his co-star Joel Mchale supported him.

Mrs. Doubtfire actor was reported dealing with alcohol and drug, leading him to be admitted to the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota, in order for him to focus on maintaining his sobriety.

Mchale told New York Daily News:

"He is such an open soul and one of the most sensitive and great guys, and I would kill for the man. And I have already offered to kill people for him... He wore his struggles and sobriety and was very up front and candid about what he has gone through... I know he is a man who likes to win and be healthy. So him going back to rehab, I pray it all works out."
