One Direction New Album Will Be More Edgy! Irish Boy Band Visited 'Today' Show And Revealed That They Are Working On The Next Album

Report from MTV.com said that it's been less than a year since One Direction released Midnight Memories, and now, the Irish boy band are working hard on their upcoming fourth album.

The boyband consisting Niall, Louis, Liam, Zayn and Harry appeared on the "Today" show, and they revealed that the 4th coming album "is taking them in a new direction...no pun intended".

Niall said on the show:

"I think it's going to be a little bit more edgy, but obviously we feel like we've got some really good songs and we are happy."

While Liam added, "We've all taken a hand in the writing this time, and we've literally written almost every song."

Although this X-Factor runner-up said there will be an upcoming album, they didn't reveal when the fans will hear their new music and release date of it. Christina Garibaldi, MTV writer said probably because the boys are currently traveling all over the U.S. for their concert tour 'Where We Are" .

After four years of becoming a boy band, 1D have been performing in front of 50,000-plus crowds of 1Directioners.

Nial said during the "Today" show, "We have moments, especially on this tour when you step out to these amazing stadiums and stuff, we end up spending the first 20 minutes just standing there looking at each other going 'wow look where we are. It's just unbelievable what's happened."

While Liam continued, "I remember I sat watching the Super Bowl thinking, 'How are we going to get on stage and play to that many people?' It's amazing, but our fans are so amazing every single night and it's nice to play to a crowd that genuinely love you, it's amazing."

Lately, Liam reportedly took a full-frontal nude and it has spread online! E-online said, Payne admitted it was just a prank!

While some of their fans even created their own versions of what the uncensored picture might look like and some 1D fan commented, "THE 10 INCH IS REAL," while another fan echoed, "#WeWantToSee11inchLiam."
