iPhone specs vs. Samsung Galaxy specs- which one's better?

Both Apple and Samsung will reportedly release new gadgets this September.  Apple will be launching its flagship phone the iPhone 6, while Samsung is expected to release Galaxy Alpha, a high-end gadget that is said to be an improvement of the Galaxy S5.

Both devices have their strengths, and have the possibility to be the best ones out once they have been released.

But which phone is better?

Here is a quick rundown of iPhone 6 specs vs. Samsung Galaxy Alpha specs:

Thickness

The Galaxy Alpha will only be 6.7mm thick, making it one of the slimmest mobile phones ever made.

However, reports have also claimed that the iPhone 6 will be sporting an ultra-thin battery making it lighter and thinner than the iPhone 5.  While the rumors sound promising, it can't be verified, at least not just yet, whether the new iPhone will be thinner than the Alpha.

Screen

For starters, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be larger where it matters.  Reports claim that Samsung is looking at a larger screen and better screen resolution for the new smartphone.  A premium design chassis is also underway.

While according to Yahoo, "The iPhone 6 is expected to be a radical departure from Apple's previous iPhones. The handset is said to sport a much larger 4.7-inch display, compared to the iPhone 5s' 4-inch screen. Various rumors also indicate that the next iPhone will use what's referred as a sapphire crystal display, which would make the handset's screen far more durable than the iPhone 5s'."

Camera

The Galaxy Alpha will have a 12MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front facing camera.  On the other hand, Apple could win the camera category by reportedly putting a 13MP Sony Exmor sensor unit on the iPhone 6.

Storage

Unfortunately the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will not come with a microSD slot giving users a limited 32GB of storage space.

iPhone 6 will be available in 64GB variants to start with, not to mention it will also offer other storage options for its users.  However, new reports are circulating that a 128GB handset might also be released for a much higher price.
