Power Rangers comeback happening next year!

ENews announced last August 14, 2014 that Lionsgate confirmed that the highly anticipated Power Rangers flick will hit theaters on July 22, 2016! However, it is still a question who will play the role of each ranger.

EOnline shared their thoughts on the stars fit for the characters of the Power Rangers 2016 movie. Check them out below:

Red Power Ranger can be played by Michael B. Jordan. He is the leader of the Power Rangers pack! According to E Online, this guy has an impressive and versatile acting chops, and according to the post, he could totally convince the audience  that he is the leader of the do-gooder group.

Blue Ranger is a good role for  Dylan O'Brien. He will be a cute and lovable underdog in this movie.

As posted on the site, Elle Fanning can take the role of Pink Power Ranger. This actress is the epitome of purity and beauty-a true girly girl. The source said that "She could totally play the delicate yet tough butt-kicker."

Ansel Elgort is ideal for the White Power Ranger character, and this ranger was originally a villain (when he was a green ranger in the TV series) who crossed over to the good side.

Furthermore, Hailee Steinfeld is fit to play the role of Yellow Power Ranger. The character of Yellow was the brains of the operation.

And lastly, Black Power Ranger is going to be played by Diego Boneta. This ranger is a swoon-worthy and a ranger who is second in command to  Red Ranger.

Guardianlv.com reported that the reboot of the 90's movie flick was planned way back in May 2014. However, that time, the date for release was not announced and even the cast members.

On the July 31, 2014 post of Inquistr, it was reported that Chloe Moretz was offered the role of Pink Power Ranger. As also reported on Venture Capital, the actress accepted the role.

Additionally, both sources said that Jason David Frank, (who has played both the Green and White Power Rangers way back in 90's), will play a role as a "mentor" for the Power Rangers 2016 reboot movie, while the remainder of the cast has not been officially confirmed.

There will more changes and update regarding the Power Rangers 2016 movie as the there are no solid proof and confirmation from Lionsgate yet. Just stay tuned for more updates.
