With NBC's announcement of Jack Coleman's impending return as Noah Bennet, a.k.a. Horn-Rimmed Glasses, a.k.a. HRG to Tim Kring's 'Heroes Reborn,' fans of the show anticipated more familiar faces to reprise their superpower-wielding roles.

However, Zachary Quinto, who plays the anti-hero Sylar, has already announced that he won't be coming back. Milo Ventimiglia, likewise, confirmed via Twitter that he won't be starring as Peter Petrelli for this new mini-series. Hayden Panetierre also denied love calls from producers for her role as the undying cheerleader Claire Bennet despite her onscreen father's return to the show.

Ali Larter, who played Nikki Sanders in the first 'Heroes,' also shot down speculations for her character's appearance in the new series.

"I haven't heard from anyone," she told Crave Online about 'Heroes Reborn.' "It's so funny, everyone's talking about it and I wish them the best."

She added, "I think Jack Coleman is doing it, but I'm on a show so I wouldn't be able to do it even if they wanted me to."

Larter is currently starring alongside Sean Bean in the new TNT spy series, "Legends." She revealed that she likes the current show's shorter run, likening herself to a "sprinter."

She noted that a 24-hour episode series is not "something that I'm interested in doing."

The actress, who published her own cookbook during her lengthy break from television, admitted that she's still adjusting to the dynamic set up of a television show.

"One of the challenges always working in television and I learned this on 'Heroes,' and it's forced me to relinquish more control, because it's not doing a film where you get to plan everything out," she said.

She added: "There's a lot of moving parts within television. There's new scripts coming in. There's new pages every night and you need to be free and you need to have trust and go with the flow."

Despite this challenge, Larter still hopes for a 'Legends' season two.

As for 'Heroes Reborn,' the actress hasn't entirely ruled out appearing in the 13-episode series. She could "possibly" appear for a cameo. That is, if the networks allow her to.

"This is almost like the old studio system. TNT and Fox will tell me what I get and don't get to do," Larter explained.

'Heroes Reborn' is due to air sometime next year.
