Perfect Match of Kpop Idols and Music Producers

Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones, Madonna and Nile Rodgers, Max Martin, Neptunes for sure there were composer/ producers behind the fancy lights and spotlights singer received onstage that allowed them to where they are.

Perfect fit of singer and producer has marked a new era in the history of pop music.

In Kpop where the majority is formed by idol groups the function of a producer becomes even more important. Especially true because the style of the song should not only fit the whole group, but reflect individual member's music style. That is the reason why generally idol groups in Korea work with one producer over a long period of time.

A notable example is 2NE1's producer Teddy, main producer of YG. Teddy was successful in displaying 2NE1's personality while also matching it well with their musical color, in songs like 'Fire,' and 'I Don't Care.'

Also 4minute and BEAST's composer Shinsadong Tiger showed good chemistry with 'Shock,' 'Fiction,' 'Beautiful,' 'Hot Issue,' and 'Bubble Pop.'

In addition there is Brave Brothers who display strong electronic bit with familiar melody line. Brave Brothers have good chemistry with mostly female singers like SISTAR, Son Dam Bi, After School, etc.

If we can distinguish Kpop producer's music colors then it will add more enjoyment listening to Kpop.
