After 22 Jump Street, Channing Tatum will be back in theaters. But this time, in a more serious and dramatic film.

The "22 Jump Street" actor stars in a psychodrama titled 'Foxcatcher' alongside Steve Carell. Mic.com said that the movie gave shock in Cannes Festival that made Bennett Miller won the Best Director prize.

Tatum reportedly is abbuzed for an Oscar, but Carrell got more attention for this movie. The Hollywood Reporter described Anchorman actor's performance as "an astonishing and utterly unexpected serious turn."

The trailer mentioned that the story of the film is based on true story.

The director of the film is Bennet Miller. The movie is about the true story of the Olympic wrestling camp run by eccentric millionaire John du Pont (Steve Carrell) and shows his relationship with the medal-winning Schultz brothers (Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo) who soon become disastrously out of control due to the behaviour of millionaire towards the Schultz brothers.

Hollywood Reporter also highlighted unexpected performance of the Anchorman actor on the upcoming psychodrama movie, while 21 Jumpstreet actor played the role of a young man who's not capable to articulate his feelings and suffers for it.

Todd McCarthy of Hollywoodreporter mentioned that you can feel the pain of Tatum in this movie!

Foxcatcher will be released on November 14.
