With approximately one month before new episodes premiere, more details have been spilled about the show's controversial characters.

Fans should be happy to find out that there will be more Olitz drama next season.

Kerry Washington will be coming back next season to reprise her role as Olivia Pope.  And while fans can only guess where her relationship with Fitz will go, the actress has hinted a few developments on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Rumor has it that Washington spilled more than what she intended to by quoting lines from episode 1 of season 4.  Of course, production had to censor most of it leaving fans quite disappointed.

But one particular line tickled the fancy of her audiences that day.  The actress said: "Somebody says, 'hi' and Olivia replies, 'hi'"- insinuating another Oliva-Fitz encounter in the next season.

As Air Herald pointed out, "The lines can easily be related to the show, as the fans know this Hi-Hi conversation mostly takes place between Fitz and Olivia whenever they meet. This is 'their' common way of killing the rather discomfited atmosphere by saying 'Hi.'"

"Reports have it that the cast of Scandal has gone back into the reading room, as they are not aware of what is going to happen in the next season. But, here is one thing we are sure of - the Olitz drama is not over yet, and they are going to cover quite a lot of the screen, this coming season."

News of new cast members are also sparking fans' interests. Latest "Scandal" season 4 spoilers reveal that "Teen Wolf" star Mathew Del Negro will be joining next season and will most likely gave a more permanent role.  Rumor has it that he will be playing someone's love interest.

Apart from Del Negro, Portia de Rossi, Mary McCormack, Josh Randall and "Lost" Star Sonya Walger will all be joining Kerry Washington and the gang next season.

 "Scandal" season 4 is set to premiere on September 25, 2014.
