The Incredibles 2 News: Director Eyes On Creating A More Thrilling Storyline To Make The Sequel Worth The Wait? Are There New Villains?

The Incredibles 2 news: a decade has past and these are just some of the expectations that we have right now for the sequel of the most sought new-age superheroes!

During the annual meeting of shareholders and D23 members, Disney Charirman and CEO Robert A. Iger confirmed that The Incredibles 2 is being actively developed. But what's taking it so long?

Aside from prior doubts in releasing a sequel (since this is not really part of Pixar's financial plan) its director Brad Bird shared that conceptualizing a bigger and bolder storyline for The Incredibles 2 is really challenging.

"If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than that first film, then I'd love to return to that world, but it would have to be story first."

According to Screenrant¸ Bird aims to improve the original film's fusion of thrilling adventures, touching family drama, and "clever social commentary elements" which is perfectly understandable rather than disappoint fans with a poor storyline after ten years!

The estimated release date of the film is yet to be announced, but the director of the 3D production team Josh Hollander hinted that they might finish sooner because of the advancement of technology.

He gave some words at the 3D Creative Summit in London Hollander told the audience: "Right now we're working on The Incredibles, which is a lot of fun in 3D. I'm not sure what the release strategy for it will be."It's been an interesting challenge to work on technology because - while the film was released 10 years ago - the technology is even older as it took four years to make."

Fans online speculated that the possible sequel will have a new villain, perhaps someone who has a link to Mr. Incredible's past, a former hero turned villain, and the opposite of Mr. Incredible's abilities, which is superior intellect. Aside from that brewing rivalry, fans also would like to see an opponent for each member of the Incredible family.
