It looks like Caleb Johnson's win last season inspired another former contestant to try out one more time for 'American Idol' season 14!

In the teaser video that the Fox show released last week, a familiar face was featured alongside other Kansas City hopefuls.

"They say it's a once in a lifetime opportunity," Casey Thrasher says in the video. "And if it became twice in a lifetime, that would be [just] unbelievable."

Thrasher, the country singer from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, made it as far as becoming one of the top 31 finalists last season. He is coming for a second chance on the audition program this year. He told America last year that his motivation for joining came in the form of a two-year-old son and a precious six-month-old baby girl. He auditioned last time to provide for his family after getting stumped with dead end jobs.

"I have a really precious reason right here," he told the audience that time, showing off his daughter.

He was praised by Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr., and Keith Urban for his emotional singing but was eventually cut from the show.

Will he follow Caleb Johnson's footsteps and nab the title on his comeback in 'American Idol' season 14? On a side note, will viewers see his children again?

Although the teaser doesn't show what happened to Thrasher after his audition, it's safe to assume that fans are already rooting for the sweet father of two.

The clip also shows other aspiring musicians, several of whom brought guitars and other instruments along. Thrasher himself listed the guitar and piano as the musical instruments that he can play with. A few even showed off hidden talents...that are best kept hidden.

One hopeful revealed that she liked to beatbox. She even gives a sample before admitting that she's not exactly very good at it.

Another wannabe singer mentioned Beyonce as his inspiration and aspiration for dancing.

"I'm not gonna say that I'm the best dancer in the world but I can move," he says as shots of him showing off his groove interjects with the interview.
