Choi Chul Ho “Back To The Beginning” As A Villain For ‘Hero’
Choi Chul Ho will pursue a villainous role once again through OCN's new drama 'Hero' as the first one of Moo Young's mayor Kim Hoon (Son Byung Ho) as well as Kim Heuk Chul (Yang Dong Geun)'s older brother. He previously gave a long lasting impression while acting as Oh Yoon in 'Dong Yi.'
In the drama, Kim Myung Chul (Choi Chul Ho) follows his father's lead and becomes a prosecutor to help protect Moo Young along with his father, but engages with dark forces to do just this. He is a character who fosters very dark desires and is willing to crush his own family and the city, ironically.
Choi Chul Ho commented, "I'm very grateful to be able to greet audiences again. I've always been a fan of Director Kim Hong Sun's works and luckily, I received a casting offer. I accepted the offer with the thought and goal of presenting a great performance by returning to the beginning and becoming one with the character. Kim Myung Chul is a character who proposes that he will protect the city of Moo Young, but also has the strong wish to dominate it through various means."
Sung Yong Il PD complimented, "Since Choi Chul Ho returned after such a long time, he pours all of his passion and everything he has into filming."
'Hero' will be OCN's first hero action drama. It is the story of super hero Heuk Chul (Yang Dong Geun) who fights the corruption behind the city of Moo Young. The first episode will air on the 18th.
