Allegiant' is the last trilogy of 'Divergent' written by Veronica Roth. It is a science fiction novel for young adults set for a movie adaptation.

According to Wikipedia, Lionsgate announced last April 11, 2014  about the film adaptation that it would be split into two parts, titled The Divergent Series: Allegiant - Part 1 and The Divergent Series: Allegiant - Part 2. Allegiant - Part 2 has a release date set for March 24, 2017.

According to Breathecast.com, avid fans of the trilogy are itching to find out more about the third installment.

The second installment titled 'Insurgent' already have an official release date. Accordingly it is set for March 30, 2015. Some reports said the upcoming film will be showcasing high-risk stunts from actors Theo James (Four) and Shailene Woodley (Tris).

The source said 'the stunts are reported to be done with the use of zip lines, presumably from the tops of various buildings, which excites fans hoping to see the limited use of CGI in the film".

Just like what is posted on Wikipedia, "Allegiant" will be split into two parts. The producer of the film stated 'the third 'Divergent' novel would be best adapted in two "strong and fulfilling" films.'

According to the book, Woodley's character died. When Entertainment Weekly asked the actress about the death of Tris, her statement reads,

"I was stoked. I thought that it was such a badass decision of Veronica Roth, and so incredibly powerful,"

"I love that she didn't sort of buy into the breakdown of what most young adult books, like, the outline of what's happened in previous young adult books. Men die all the time in films - heroes do. But a lot of sweet heroines don't. And so I thought it was a very powerful, profound decision on her part. And I really love that she had the courage and the bravery to do that."
