The Boxtrolls Release Date In US Set For September 26? Animated Film Premiered In Venice Film Festival! Voice Actors Include Isaac Hempstead-Wright And Elle Fanning

"The Boxtrolls" release date is expected on September 26, 2014, in the US.

"The Boxtrolls" appeared at Venice Film Festival. The 3D animated film is based on Alan Snow's bestselling fantasy adventure book "Here Be Monsters." 

The story focusses on the tale of a community of cardboard-box like creatures who raise a human boy, which is played  by Isaac Hempstead Wright (actor from Game of Thrones).

IMDB plot for this movie reads: "A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator." 

DailyStar said, Anthony Stacchi co-directed the film with Graham Annable. The source added the team had wanted to evoke "that Roald Dahl quality that all the adults are useless and the kids know better. We saw it early on as a sort of Oliver Twist made by Monty Python."

Laika studio produced this movie, along with Travis Knight. He described the book ""... a very visceral, sooty, dirty quality,"
