Cameras Are Officially Rolling For Magic Mike XXL: Channing Tatum Kicks Off All The Hype! Plot Revealed By Matt Bomer And Joe Manganiello
Magic Mike XXL writer/actor Channing Tatum posted a Facebook photo suggesting that yes, cameras are now rolling for the much-awaited sequel!
The hot strippers of this upcoming film have already given us some hot revelations when it comes to cast and plot.
Joe Manganiello also known as Big Dick Richie, recently shared that the film is going to be "more of the guys. It's gonna be all of the guys, getting the band back together and we're gonna go hit the road and cause some mayhem. Some trouble,"
This exposé was backed-up by Matt Bomer who said during his appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show that "It's legit and it's happening-and it's happening pretty soon,"
"My understanding is it's gonna start this fall," he added.
"And I think Channing announced recently that it's about... it's kind of a road trip film that leads to a stripper convention," Bomer said.
In previous reports, Channing Tatum, who is penning the storyline of Magic Mike XXL together with Reid Carolin, admitted that although he's very much excited to include a new plot twist, he cannot deny the fact that he has been struggling as well:
"We don't want to make it a serious, slice-of-life movie. We want reality in it, but we don't want to make it some dark drama. There was some darkness in the last one, and I think it surprised people and shocked people. This one, we want there to be a lot of conflict and struggle, but we also want a s***-ton of fun. Just ridiculous stuff that you would never see in a movie," he said.
The strip scenes of Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, and Joe Manganiello are set to make a flash on the big screen once again next year, July 3, directed by Greg Jacobs. However, Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer may no longer be part of Magic Mike XXL's jaw-dropping cast.
Quoting the revelations spilled by Magic Mike star Gabriel Iglesias, "Word has it that Matthew's probably not gonna be involved in this one because he's worth a lot of money because of the whole Oscar thing."
As you all know, Matthew recently bagged the Academy Awards Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for the movie Dallas Buyers Club. "He's worth a lot of money...that whole Oscar thing, the nerve right?" Iglesias teased.
On the other hand, Alex Pettyfer who played the role of Adam was allegedly fired by Channing due to his bad attitude on set. According to a source of Magazine, "Alex is dying to reprise his role, but Channing is on the fence,"
"It's going to take a lot of sucking up for Alex to get his part back," he added.
