‘Fashion King’ Shameless Yoo Ah In And ‘Candy’ Shin Sae Kyung
On the 19th, the first episode of SBS's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Fashion King' revealed the story of Kang Young Gul (Yoo Ah In) and Lee Ga Young (Shin Sae Kyung).
Ga Young, who lost her parents and grew up under Madam Jo (Jang Mi Hee), was accused of committing arson and was chased out of Madam Jo's shop while preparing for fashion school in New York.
Without anywhere to go, Ga Young begins to work under Kang Young Gul in an imitation store in Dongdaemun. Young Gul makes it big with an item made by Ga Young and offers her abroad tuition, as Ga Young heads to America.
However, Kang Young Gul, while dating a loan shark's girlfriend, is forced to lose everything and leave on a boat, with his future looking dim.
Yoo Ah In transforms into a shameless character for 'Fashion King,' compared to his previous role as a manly, serious character in 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal.'
Shin Sae Kyung played an elegant character in 'Tree with Deep Roots,' and has transformed into a Candy-like character for her enduring and tough attitude in 'Fashion King.'
