Yoon Si Yoon will be joining the ranks among Korean actors expanding into the China region. Yoon Si Yoon was offered to star as the male lead in Chinese drama 'Happy Noodle' and is currently in the process of finalizing the agreement.

The 24-episode series 'Happy Noodle' is a drama of a famous Chinese noodle restaurant as the background and the dreams of becoming the best chef. The production company of drama 'Po Chung Chun,' which received popularity from China and Taiwan, will produce the drama.

A representative of 'Happy Noodle' stated, "Although 'King of Baking Kim Tak Goo' has not been formally broadcasted in China, Chinese producers who have seen the drama through the Internet displayed interest in Yoon Si Yoon. He has been casted because of his likely synchronization with the male lead character of one who finds love through cooking."

If Yoon Si Yoon confirms his role, he will begin filming in China in May. 'Happy Noodle' is planned to air at the end of this year.

Before capturing audiences with 'Happy Noodle,' Yoon Si Yoon is receiving anticipation as joining the Korean Wave stars of the China region through the airing of 'King of Baking Kim Tak Goo' in September.
